ALTA wireless pressure meters measure pressure from a 5 volt pressure transducer and transmits the pressure measurement to iMonnit. By connecting the Monnit wireless pressure sensor to a pressurized gas, liquid or vapor supply line, it can measure the pressure within the line and send data to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System. The data is stored in the online system and can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph. User customization allows you to set notifications and alerts from the system so you can know immediately if pressure is above or below an optimal range. ALTA - Leading Enterprise Grade "Internet of Things" Solutions ALTA sensors offer 3 to 4 times the range of standard sensor platforms, extending non-line-of-sight reach to an exceptional 1,000+ feet through walls (12-14 walls typical). Using Frequency-hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) also allows ALTA sensors to have better interference immunity from other wireless devices. Superior power management provides ALTA sensors with almost twice the battery life of Monnit’s standard wireless sensors. - Coin cell sensors typically last 3+ years. - AA and Industrial sensors typically last up to 10+ years. The Wireless Thermocouple Sensor is available with a hardwired thermocouple or K-type connector to support various thermocouple types and ranges. The hardwired thermocouple option measures temperatures up to 400°C (752°F). The K-type connector with Probe includes a needle probe that measures temperatures up to 400°C (752°F). The sensor is programmed to sleep for a user-given time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup, send power to the thermocouple and wait for it to stabilize, and convert the analog data, mathematically compute the temperature and transmit the data to the gateway. To stay within the abilities of the processor, the temperature is computed off a data table provided by the manufacturer.
